Yango has released the Yasmina line of voice-activated artificial intelligence speakers.
One of the standout products is the Midi Station, designed to become a trusted companion for every family member.
The Midi Station is a cube-shaped speaker measuring 9x9x10 cm, making it a perfect fit for a table in the living room or office. The speaker is fully covered with an acoustic mesh, except for the plastic panel on top. It features touch-sensitive volume controls and a button to activate the voice assistant. Beneath the fabric, an LED clock adjusts its brightness based on the room’s lighting conditions. At the top, a contoured backlight changes colour depending on the device’s status. For privacy, there’s a microphone mute button located on the back of the speaker. When pressed, the Yasmina logo lights up red, indicating that the assistant can’t hear you.
The Midi Station is available in three colours: emerald, grey, and black.

Thanks to its neural processor, Yasmina quickly responds to voice requests, for example:
- She can search the internet for a wide range of information and explain complex topics in simple terms that even a child can understand.
- You can ask Yasmina to set an alarm with your favourite song, create important reminders, or check the weather forecast for 9 a.m. tomorrow.
- As a keeper of traditions, Yasmina will remind you of prayer times or the time to read the Quran.
- The virtual assistant will help you find the right content in Yango Play, whether it’s a family movie or a cartoon for a child.
- Yasmina controls smart home devices such as sensors, kettles, or air conditioners. All gadgets can be connected in the Yango Play app, allowing you to customize operating scenarios, adjust lights, or set schedules. The Midi Station supports both Zigbee and Wi-Fi connections.
- Thanks to voice recognition technology, Yasmina tailors music to each family member’s preferences. She recognizes who is speaking and selects content to match their tastes. This feature supports up to four users, who can be invited via the Yango Play app.
In addition to its voice assistant capabilities, the Midi Station is a compact yet powerful home speaker. It features three speakers with a total output of 24 watts integrated into its cabinet. The Room Correction function ensures balanced sound distribution throughout the room, regardless of the speaker’s placement.
